About this Role

We're seeking an experienced Electronics Specialist to join our team.

This role involves designing and developing high-performance electronic hardware for water purification and distribution systems deployed globally.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating complex, multi-layer printed circuit boards (PCBs) for power electronics applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing PCBs for power electronics including DC-DC converters, inverters, SMPS, and motor drives.
  • Developing and maintaining schematic diagrams, PCB layouts, footprints, and libraries in Altium Designer.
  • Optimizing PCB layouts for signal integrity, power integrity, thermal performance, and high-current handling.
  • Evaluating compliance with electromagnetic interference (EMI)/electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards and integrating grounding, shielding, and filtering best practices.
  • Performing design rule checks (DRC) and error checking (ERC), and supporting design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testability (DFT) processes.
  • Collaborating with electrical, mechanical, and firmware engineers throughout product development.
  • Integrating 3D component models and conducting mechanical fit and clearance checks using Altium's 3D design capabilities.
  • Coordinating with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors for prototyping and production runs.
  • Supporting prototype bring-up, debugging, and validation with the testing team.
  • Managing documentation including Gerber files, bills of materials (BOMs), assembly drawings, and design revisions.
