Financial Planning and Analysis Role

The organization is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis professional to play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with vendors for payment, refunds, and vendor reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Update supplier reconciliation portal, utilizing expertise in data analysis and management.
  • Collaborate with clients to obtain missing vendor bills and approvals, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
  • Prepare weekly AP reports and process vendor payments, adhering to internal processes and deadlines.
  • Review vendor reconciliations performed by colleagues, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Chase W9 from vendors and prepare 1099 workings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Reconcile tax returns, applying knowledge of financial principles and regulations.
  • Review sales entries on a weekly basis, analyzing trends and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Prepare use tax calculations, CRT/TPT/8027, and other county tax returns, leveraging expertise in financial planning and analysis.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Respond to emails within 48 hours, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.
  • Deliver AP reports to clients on time, meeting expectations and building trust.
  • Meet internal month-end closing deadlines, contributing to the organization's overall success.
  • Train new team members and assist them in settling into their roles, promoting a culture of learning and growth.
  • Maintain adherence to internal processes and systems, ensuring efficient operations and continuous improvement.
  • Be open to learning new processes and taking on new responsibilities as assigned, embracing opportunities for growth and development.
  • Attend all internal training and development sessions to enhance personal and business growth, staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in financial principles and concepts.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles, with the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practical situations.
  • Effective English communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving attitude, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions.
