Sales Team Lead

As a Sales Team Lead - Business Development at Paytm, you will be responsible for developing plans and strategies to drive business growth and achieve the company's sales goals. You will create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement, managing sales teams, operations, and resources to deliver growth. Your key responsibilities will include defining optimal sales force structures, coordinating sales training programs, and managing customer expectations to contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction. You will also define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements. To succeed in this role, you will need 3+ years of experience in distribution sales in fintech, banking, or sales, with exceptional communication, presentation skills, and relationship-building skills. You will be able to aggressively manage the successful execution of a sales strategy and work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Paytm is India's leading digital payments and financial services company, focused on driving consumers and merchants to its platform by offering a variety of payment use cases. We provide consumers with services like utility payments and money transfers, empowering them to pay via Paytm payment instruments. To merchants, we offer acquiring devices like Soundbox, edc, qr, and payment gateway, where payment aggregation is done through PPI and other banks' financial instruments. We also offer merchants commerce services through advertising and the Paytm mini app store.
About the Team
The Oil and gas vertical Focused Offline payment solution team includes payment of oil/petrol and gas bills via QR Codes and POS machines. We predominantly deal with Petrol and gas station Merchants and other Retail businesses, handling end-to-end sales and operations. We onboard new merchants for offline solutions and service existing merchants, maintaining good relationships with PSU Companies/Oil Marketing Companies.
