Remote Telecommunications Specialist

We're seeking an experienced telecommunications professional to join our international team as a Network Engineer III. This role requires delivering Tier 3 telephony and hardware support, including fault isolation and resolution, while troubleshooting complex issues with GTD-5 switches.
- Troubleshoot complex issues with GTD-5 switches
- Deliver Tier 3 telephony and hardware support, including fault isolation and resolution
- Interface with customers, support teams, and vendors to resolve network problems
- Guide field teams on trouble isolation and hardware replacement
- Document internal processes and mentor other engineers
- Ensure accurate ticket updates and participate in an on-call rotation
- At least 5 years' hands-on experience with GTD-5 hardware support and telephony troubleshooting
- Experience with call processing and translations
- Familiarity with central office procedures and ISO27001 compliance
- Strong communication, customer focus, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently from home and manage time effectively
- Degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
