Knowledge Representation and Language Understanding Researcher

The Knowledge, Language, and Reasoning Lab is seeking highly motivated researchers to contribute to the development of structured knowledge corpora and language understanding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the creation of knowledge bases and design experiments to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of language models.
  • Collaborate with researchers to stay up-to-date with recent advancements in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Eligibility Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • High proficiency in programming, particularly in Python (mandatory requirement).
  • Ability to write clean, modular, and scalable code.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in NLP, Deep Learning, or work involving language models is highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with DL frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow is highly desirable but not mandatory.
Essential Skills:
  • Strong learning mindset.
  • Keen interest in staying up-to-date with recent research developments in NLP, ML, and AI.
  • Initiative in exploring original ideas and asking meaningful questions.
