OEM Engineering Lead Job Description

In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the engineering design, development, and integration of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) components. This encompasses sensors, cameras, radar, lidar, and control systems.

You will collaborate closely with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless system integration into OEM vehicle platforms. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing technical risk assessments and proposing mitigation strategies.

The primary technical interface between our company and OEM customers for ADAS product development will be yours to manage. You will lead discussions on system integration, requirements, and validation processes.

Ensuring alignment between OEM requirements and internal engineering capabilities is crucial in this role. You will be responsible for managing technical reviews, design reviews, and program milestones with OEMs.

Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing corrective actions as needed are all essential tasks in this position. Driving continuous improvement initiatives and best practices in ADAS development is also a key responsibility.

To excel in this role, you will need a strong knowledge of ADAS technologies, hands-on experience in ADAS system design, integration, and validation, and a proven track record of working with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in the automotive industry.
