Job Description

The role requires effective management of multiple projects with various stakeholders.

The responsibilities encompass project planning, scheduling, execution, budgeting, and ensuring timely completion within stipulated parameters.

  • Monthly reporting to senior management on project progress, highlighting key milestones and any deviations from the plan.
  • Process improvements, SOPs/checklists, policies, team development, resource optimization, and change initiatives to enhance overall efficiency and productivity.
  • Developing detailed project scopes, Gantt charts, budgets, safety plans, and coordinating with cross-functional teams for seamless project delivery.
  • Detailed attention to health and safety protocols adherence and implementation of best practices to minimize risks.
  • Collaboration with the installation team to troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensuring accurate BOMs and timely submission to the procurement team for efficient material management.
  • Supporting the RMS team in resolving DGPD & ZFD selection and configuration issues for timely handover to Asset Management with proper documentation.
  • Optimizing delivered project costs through regular major cost tracking and providing insights for future improvement.
  • Prompt updates to WBS in ERP systems for real-time visibility and decision-making.
  • Providing design and engineering support for distributed projects and optimizing designs to minimize material costs.
  • Validating designs, identifying constraints, bottlenecks, and implementing corrective actions to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Prioritizing projects and allocating resources effectively to meet project deadlines and objectives.
  • Necessitating client meetings, vendor coordination, site visits, and facilitating collaboration among stakeholders.
  • Driving design reduction and minimizing iterations through proactive engagement and continuous improvement.
  • Understanding organizational requirements from engineering and project execution and developing necessary skills and technical competency within the team for task accomplishment.
  • Conducting technical and safety training sessions for the team members.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of all projects in centralized repositories like OneDrive and ERP systems.
  • Ensuring easy access to files, maintaining proper checklists/documentation, and adhering to industry standards/guidelines.
  • Implementing new ideas and design software to add value in Engineering design and drive innovation.
  • Identifying resource requirements including design software to meet design goals and objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management
    • Project planning, scheduling, and execution

    Coordination
    • Effective coordination with other departments and teams
    • Managing commercial/SoW related issues with the sales team
    • Regular follow-up and coordination with the purchase team for timely dispatch of materials
    • Frequent discussion with the Asset Management team for smooth handover of projects
    Vendor Management
    • Empaneling, developing, and managing execution vendors
    • Developing internal capabilities to manage vendors efficiently
    • Ensuring ESG compliance by vendors and promoting sustainable practices
    • Building processes for delivering high-quality projects and establishing a culture of excellence
    • Providing necessary safety training to vendors and promoting a safe working environment.
