Job Title: IT Support Specialist

  • A highly skilled IT support specialist is required to maintain the company's IT infrastructure, provide technical assistance, and ensure smooth IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Maintain computers, servers, and networking equipment.
  • Install and update software across the company's systems.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve basic IT problems related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Ensure regular data backups and contribute to the company's data security efforts.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, issues, and resolutions in a ticketing or documentation system.
  • Monitor and maintain the local area network (LAN) and internet connectivity.
  • Support basic IT security tasks, such as ensuring antivirus updates and security patches are applied.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT support or administration.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems, network concepts, hardware components, office productivity software, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.
Added Advantage:
  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals, or similar.
  • Knowledge of network security and firewall configurations.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure.
