Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide financial support for project management. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate configuration and maintenance of project financial data within the company's accounting system.

The successful applicant will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing project financial activity to guarantee adherence to internal control requirements and compliance with company policies.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the loading of global project budgets into the financial management system, including collection of non-supported budgets. Review and reconcile loaded project budgets to ensure accuracy against contracted values.
  • Coordinate the loading of payment schedules. Review and reconcile loaded payment schedules to ensure accuracy against contracted values and compliance with negotiated contract terms.
  • Confirm setup of project and contract header information.
  • Configure project and contract modules, including assignment of rate sets/plans to activities, configuration of contract lines, and establishment of billing/revenue limits.
  • Review and monitor rate exception reports and coordinate resolution of rate issues in a timely manner with the global project services group.
  • E nsure review and completion of project check-off lists throughout the project lifecycle (activation, configuration, and close-out).
  • Monitor monthly compliance reports to ensure timely reporting of revenue and billing deliverables by project managers.
  • Complete project close-out procedures and communicate project status actions to the global project services support group.
  • Perform project-level unbilled/unearned reconciliations as required.
  • Monitor unbilled, write-off activity, and over-the-limit exception reports and resolve/escalate unusual activity.
  • Assist in preparing invoice backup requirements and client reconciliation requests as needed.
  • Complete assigned monthly and quarterly Sarbanes-Oxley reporting requirements.
  • Support other special project reporting and analysis as required.
