Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Zonal Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of sales volume and growth objectives in your designated zone. You will lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals to drive business growth and profitability.
Main ResponsibilitiesSales Development
Develop and implement sales plans to achieve sales volume and growth objectives in your zone.
Monitor market trends and opportunities to improve market penetration of our products.
Ensure Ferrero's brands are marketed in accordance with company policies to maximize profitability.
Sales Strategy
Develop and propose annual operational plans for your zone in collaboration with the Regional Manager.
Ensure 'Freshness' levels of our products meet established standards.
Route to Market and Distribution
Formulate business plans for retailing activities and develop the business unit in consultation with the management team.
Evaluate sales budgets and ensure adherence to planned expenses.
Responsible for demand forecasting and ensuring optimum inventory levels to meet market requirements.
Profit Centre Management
Establish goals, short-term and long-term budgets, forecasts, and develop business plans to achieve these goals.
Actively involved in business planning and monitoring performance.
Team Management
Lead, train, and motivate sales teams to ensure their career development and positive contribution to company performance.
Requirements- 8+ years' experience in sales and/or marketing
- Grading and designation will be based on current designation and years of work experience
- Experience gained in the FMCG segment with a proven track record of success in a similar role
- Demonstrable experience in managing complex teams
- Excellent communicator and team player
