Business Development Manager - Hospitality

OYO Hotels is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our market presence within the hospitality sector.

Job Description:
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for growth. Analyze customer needs and preferences to inform business strategies.
  • Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies for lead generation through networking, industry events, and digital marketing. Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders. Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute business development strategies and goals. Prepare and present proposals, presentations, and reports to stakeholders.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth: Develop pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to maximize revenue. Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment on business goals and initiatives. Participate in cross-departmental projects to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Performance Tracking: Track and analyze performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies. Prepare regular reports for management on business development activities and results.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in business development or sales within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
