Job Title

We are looking for a skilled System Reliability Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and architecting scalable software platforms, as well as automating infrastructure provisioning and deployment.

About the Role

This role involves working with Kubernetes clusters hosted in cloud environments, using InfrastructureAsCode tooling like Terraform and Ansible to manage resources. The engineer will also engage with development teams throughout the lifecycle of software development, providing coaching on SRE best practices.

The Day-to-Day Activities:
  • Designing and implementing automated software upgrades, change management, and release management solutions.
  • Working closely with development teams to develop software that is reliable and scalable.
  • Troubleshooting priority incidents and facilitating blameless post-mortems.
  • Performing analytics on previous incidents and usage patterns to predict issues and take proactive actions.
  • Building and driving adoption for self-healing and resiliency patterns.
Must-Haves:
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with administering Kubernetes clusters.
  • Experience managing infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency and transparency in a growing engineering organization.
