Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled VMware infrastructure engineer to design, implement, and administer virtualization solutions using VMware technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with designing, implementing, administering, and operating VMware Aria Suite of products, vCenter, NSX, ESXi, Cloud Director, etc.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement infrastructure solutions using VMware technologies.
  • Administer and operate VMware Aria Suite of products, vCenter, NSX, ESXi, Cloud Director, etc.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python or PowerShell.
  • Implement system monitoring, alerting, and dashboard management using VMware Aria Operations and VMware Aria Automation.
  • Collaborate with the team to design, implement, and operate Enterprise Cloud environments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience with designing, implementing, administering and operating VMware Aria Suite of products, vCenter, NSX, ESXi, Cloud Director, etc.
  • 2+ years of experience with system automation, scripting (Python or PowerShell), and development.
  • 2+ years of experience with Linux system administration or development.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Enterprise Cloud environments.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Experience with Ansible, VMware API integration development, Cloud networking, IBM Cloud API integration development, Windows Active Directory administration or development, Windows SQL server administration or development, Jenkins build and platforms, Web UI development, GitHub issue and code management, networking, and network security components, firewalls, gateways, secure engineering principles and best practices, security standards, authentication, authorization, and encryption protocols.
  • 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Telegraf, and VeeamOne.
