Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Team Lead to oversee the management of mission-critical cloud infrastructure for our customers worldwide.

This role involves providing 24/7 managed support for these cloud environments, leading a team, and ensuring customer satisfaction exceeds expectations.

You will collaborate closely with the DevOps and engineering teams by sharing your expertise and suggestions.

  • Establish relationships with partners to identify opportunities.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by meeting service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Resolve issues holistically, focusing on complete problems.
  • Review tickets and escalate to management as necessary.
  • Lead a team of Cloud Engineers, providing technical guidance and expertise when required.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalations and resolve issues through hands-on approach.
  • Interact with customers via tickets, calls, emails, and regular sync-up calls.
  • Evaluate team member performance periodically and provide feedback to the team and HR.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • At least 10+ years of experience in L3 technical support with a cloud-first data center or cloud support services organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud, containers, virtualization, and related technologies and concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, MySQL, Vmware/KVM, and on-premises cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with monitoring systems (Prometheus/Nagios/Zabbix/SolarWinds/ManageEngine etc.).
  • Working knowledge of Storage, Networking, Backup, and Bash.
  • Excellent communication skills with clear verbal and written articulation.
  • Experience managing a team of at least 4 people in this role.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

A strong background in:

  • Cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Virtualization (VMware, KVM).
  • Scripting languages (Bash, Python).
  • Database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
