Job Title: Advanced AI Analyst

We are seeking a seasoned professional with hands-on experience in AI/ML development and domain expertise in Oil & Gas. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate domain requirements into AI/ML models for enhancing operational efficiency, reducing downtime, and optimizing costs across E&P, O&M, Supply Chain, and HSE datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the gathering, prioritization, and validation of AI/ML use cases related to E&P (Geophysics, Reservoir, Drilling), O&M, and HSE.
  • Develop and validate machine learning models (classification, regression, clustering) using Python and ML libraries.
  • Prepare and cleanse data, perform feature engineering, and support exploratory data analysis to drive insights.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines leveraging big data platforms like Spark and Databricks to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Collaborate in AI/ML model deployment and maintenance, including automated retraining to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Evaluate AI governance, ethical use, and data security policies to guarantee responsible AI practices.
  • Create informative dashboards and reports to measure KPIs such as downtime reduction and process optimization.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
  • 5-8 years of AI/ML experience with some Oil & Gas industry exposure preferred.
  • Proficient in Python, ML libraries, SQL/NoSQL, and big data technologies to handle large-scale data sets.
  • Familiar with cloud ML platforms and MLOps fundamentals to ensure efficient model deployment.
  • Strong documentation and stakeholder engagement skills to effectively communicate results and insights.
