Job Opportunity: Principal Consultant

Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Consultant to lead quality assurance activities for our Trading Platforms.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality assurance for financial or trading applications, with expertise in Endur/Findur and a deep understanding of trading operations. The successful applicant will drive and implement testing strategies, identify risks, and provide valuable insights into platform improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute QA activities on the Trading Platform, ensuring the functionality, performance, and stability of the platform across various environments.
  • Own and manage the QA lifecycle for the trading platform, including planning, test case development, execution, and defect management.
  • Work closely with trading and IT teams to understand system requirements, user needs, and business processes to identify critical areas for testing.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for Endur and related tools, including integration, regression, functional, and performance testing.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to ensure proper testing coverage for new functionalities, features, and system integrations.
  • Ensure that critical trading workflows are functioning correctly and mentor junior QA team members.
  • Define, implement, and enforce QA best practices, standards, and methodologies across all projects.
  • Support user acceptance testing and assist with training and knowledge transfer for internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and document defects, track issues to resolution, and ensure timely delivery of quality software.
