As a technical leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Facilitating discussions and leading decision-making on all engineering aspects of your team.
  • Defining and executing engineering plans for areas under your ownership.
  • Driving engineering best practices for your team.
  • Ensuring the hygiene of production systems (both engineering and processes) for areas under your ownership.
  • Being responsible for the health of the business directly owned by your team.
  • Challenging business & product outcomes, channelizing feedback into execution, and being accountable for engineering outputs.
  • Hiring, mentoring, and retaining a high-performing engineering team.
  • Managing stakeholders, including business, product, operations, and clients/vendors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A proven track record of designing and developing simple to complex solutions, including experience in designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems.
  • Proven skills in building and managing high-performing software development teams.
  • Practical experience and ability to drive design and architecture of multiple subsystems with other senior members in the team.
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (or equivalent).
  • 9+ years of software development experience and 3+ years of leading teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely to various audiences.
  • Past experience with startups and fast-paced environments is an added advantage.

Estimated Salary:

Rupees 2500000 per annum (approximate), based on industry standards and location.
