Job Title: IT Leadership Position - Senior Technical Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled IT professional to fill the role of Senior Technical Manager at Talent500.

About the Role:
  • This position is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.
  • The Senior Technical Manager will lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and direction to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality results.
  • This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and direction to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality results.
  • Oversee the technical aspects of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.
  • Analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their technical requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact on the organization.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT Lead role, Resource manager, Project manager, or a similar role with a strong technical background.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT ecosystems spanning multiple platforms and the software development life cycle.
  • Proven experience in team leadership, conflict resolution, and personnel management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the Airline domain.
  • Experience with APIs used in business-critical applications.
  • Experience mentoring associate software developers.
  • Experience in Cloud services (especially AWS).
  • Experience with z/TPF mainframe.
Salary:

$140,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience.
