We are seeking an experienced Senior Audit Leadership professional to join our team as an Associate Manager. This role will involve leading the engagement team staff on the planning and execution of audits, reviews or compilations to deliver exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of audit engagements from staffing, planning, risk assessment, financial reporting, and conclusion.
  • Provide supervision and support to engagement staff, seniors, and supervisors, promoting open communication with the engagement partner.
  • Collaborate with engagement team partners on client issue resolution and provide recommendations for legal, regulatory, and accounting issues that arise during audits.
  • Manage multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to meet client deadlines efficiently.
  • Create and track engagement budgets to review for inefficiencies.
  • Conduct constructive discussions with team members on their evaluations and provide counsel accordingly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or Masters; CPA is preferred.
  • At least 6+ years of public accounting experience, with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff. Experience auditing real estate, technology, and financial services clients is preferred.
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client/internal relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects.
  • Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the Firm well to clients' management.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, project management skills, strong attention to detail, and proven innovative problem-solving skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on experience. Withum offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
