Job Title

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Database Administrator to join our team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust and efficient database management system. This includes ensuring data integrity, security, and availability, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Database Design and Development: Design and implement database structures, including schema development, data modeling, and data warehousing.
  • Database Administration: Ensure database performance, security, and integrity by monitoring database metrics, analyzing logs, and performing backups and recoveries.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to databases, including error diagnosis, root cause analysis, and resolution implementation.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination on database-related projects and initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Expertise: 5+ years of experience in database administration, design, and development, with expertise in Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Programming Skills: Strong knowledge of programming languages such as T-SQL, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Database Management: Experience with database management systems, including database performance optimization, security, and backup/recovery procedures.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
Desirable Skills:
  • Data/DevOps: Experience with Data/DevOps practices, including continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), containerization (e.g., Docker), and cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., Azure).
  • Cloud Services: Familiarity with cloud-based services, including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Business Intelligence: Knowledge of business intelligence tools and technologies, including reporting, analytics, and data visualization.
