Job Title: Business Development Representative

Description:

As a key member of our sales team, the successful candidate will be responsible for generating new leads and qualifying prospects through high-volume cold calling. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting & Outreach: Conduct high-volume cold calling to generate new leads.
  • Lead Qualification: Use defined criteria and call script to qualify prospects and prioritize follow-ups.
  • Appointment Setting: Secure discovery calls and on-site discovery meetings for the senior sales team.
  • CRM Management: Update all interactions, notes, lead statuses, and next steps in the CRM in real-time.
  • Follow-Up Nurturing: Run structured follow-up cadences to progress leads through the funnel.
  • Scripting: Use and improve call scripts and sequences to increase conversion rates.
  • Collaboration: Share market feedback with Sales/Marketing to refine ICP, messaging, and campaigns.
  • Reporting: Track and report on daily/weekly activity, conversion metrics, and pipeline health.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in lead generation/SDR/BDR or similar role.
  • Strong cold calling and objection-handling skills; comfortable with outreach targets.
  • Appointment setting experience with measurable results.
  • Solid CRM proficiency (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho) and habit of meticulous data entry.
  • Ability to qualify leads using frameworks like BANT, MEDDIC, or similar.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; confident, clear, and persuasive.
  • Organized, goal-driven, and resilient with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
