Job Overview

This is a role that encompasses the development and implementation of solutions to enhance system reliability, boost productivity, and drive efficiency. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and deploying scalable infrastructure, automating processes, and ensuring high availability.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Platform Engineering & Automation: Develop automated infrastructure solutions using Terraform to improve system reliability and scalability.
  2. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and maintain infrastructure code to ensure high availability and performance.
  3. Observability & Monitoring: Design and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using Datadog and Grafana to optimize system performance.
  4. Unity Catalog: Implement and maintain Unity Catalog, Delta Sharing, Metadata, and Identity access management.
  5. Databases: Design and implement relational databases, data warehouses, and NoSQL databases for optimal performance and scalability.
  6. Power BI: Manage Power BI tenant, including workspace management, dashboard development, performance optimization, and integration.
  7. CI/CD & DevOps Practices: Optimize CI/CD pipelines using ADO, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD to enable seamless deployments.
  8. Cloud: Architect and manage cloud-native platforms using Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  9. Networking: Secure the data platform network by enforcing network security policies and integrating on-premises networks with cloud environments.
  10. Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain Disaster Recovery environment and conduct periodic disaster recovery drills.
  11. Resilience & Incident Management: Improve system reliability by implementing fault-tolerant designs and participating in L4 level resolution.
  12. Security & Compliance: Ensure platform security by implementing best practices for cloud-based data platforms, access controls, and zone-specific compliance requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field with minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Certifications such as Azure Developer Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Google Professional SRE Certification, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Bash, Powershell, Terraform, Python, Java, etc.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Experience with IaC, Unity Catalog, databases, Kubernetes & Containers, Power BI, monitoring & logging, CI/CD & DevOps, networking & security, and disaster recovery.
