Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliable Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration and network configuration.

About the Role

This is a critical position that requires exceptional technical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. The Reliable Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the high availability of services, implementing and maintaining network configurations, automating infrastructure using SaltStack or equivalent tools, and participating in on-call rotations to monitor and resolve production issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Linux/Unix systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime
  • Implement and maintain network configurations, including iptables, ipsec, and IP management
  • Automate infrastructure tasks using SaltStack or equivalent configuration management tools
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement best IT operational practices and ensure site reliability

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Proven experience in system administration and network configuration
  • Familiarity with automation tools like SaltStack or equivalent configuration management tools
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
