About the Job:

We are seeking a seasoned supply chain expert to join our team as a functional consultant. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in providing supply chain solutions for customers and possess a deep understanding of statistical algorithms, SCM concepts, and tactical planning on overall supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in business process analysis or design/construction phase of the project that leads to writing functional specifications.
  • Work as a functional liaison between Project Team and key customer executives.
  • Have knowledge of either Blue Yonder Demand & Fulfillment, Allocation, Enterprise Planning, Assortment and Category Management.
  • Work with project team to ensure smooth and efficient implementation and integration between technical and functional system requirements.
  • Provide advice to customers regarding the industry's best practices and process methodology.
  • Facilitate/lead business diagnostics, process analysis and/or design workshops to help flush out as-is and desired to-be solution state and ultimately write a solution design document to support business requirements.
  • Recognize and highlight incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers/projects.
  • Support sales & Presales in providing Solution approach & PoV.
  • Be a thought leader in their Product Solution area of focus and apply that knowledge to customer situations.
  • Represent the company in industry conferences/workshops (if required).

Requirements:

  • 15 - 18 years of hands-on experience as a functional consultant providing supply chain solutions for customers is required.
  • Candidate must be either a customer of Blue Yonder or a consultant implementing Blue Yonder solutions for customers.
  • Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics or Operations Research is preferred.
  • A combination of Bachelor's degree and relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree.
  • Relevant solutions consulting and implementation experience with other leading supply chain planning solutions such as Oracle, SAP, or leading ERP may be considered.
  • Strong business analysis skills, understanding and usage of statistical algorithms, SCM concepts, awareness of tactical planning on overall supply chain are required.
  • Relevant industry certification from APICS , TOGAF will be a plus.
  • Candidate must have current or prior experience working in Management consulting organization or Supply Chain Center or Excellence settings.
  • Skill set and availability requirements as per the organization's needs.
  • Knowledge in performance tuning techniques is an added advantage.
