Regulatory Operations Role

The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the accurate and timely processing of all payment types, including physical cash/valuables transactions. This involves handling investigations related to cash, processing time-sensitive complex transactions, and interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

This role requires capturing payment transactions accurately, adhering to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and industry guidelines. The analyst must also ensure that procedures are properly executed to minimize processing risks and identify areas for process improvement.

Key responsibilities include processing items according to established procedures and cut-off times, assisting the team in day-to-day operations, and communicating process-related clarifications to the team. The analyst must also maintain records, ensure proper backups, and train new recruits.

Additionally, the Regulatory Operations Analyst may be involved in direct client contact, escalation and remediation of client complaints, and managing relationships with front office functions and other parties.

The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of payments flow, be well-versed in SWIFT, and possess risk and regulatory knowledge. A minimum graduation in any stream is required.
