Senior Human Resources Business Partner

This is a key leadership role responsible for managing the entire human resources function, including payroll processing, benefits administration, tax and labour compliance, vendor management, people management, employee relations, and audits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, with experience in managing teams, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Operations: Manage end-to-end human resources systems from hire to retire data management, identifying opportunities to improve processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Payroll Processing: Oversee accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, including salaries, wages, deductions, and benefits for APAC countries, coordinating with vendors on system enhancements.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Tax and Labour Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable payroll laws and regulations, including tax regulations, labour laws, and company policies, coordinating with departments to address and resolve compliance-related discrepancies.
  • Vendor Management: Ensure services are delivered as per agreed SLAs and timelines from vendors by optimizing costs and minimizing risks.
  • People Management: Proactively ensure optimal utilization of available resources to support business-as-usual and global projects.
  • Employee Relations: Address and resolve employee queries and issues promptly and accurately.
  • Audits: Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in human resources or related field.
  • 15 to 20 years of experience in HR, with a focus on HR operations, payroll, and compliance (preferably exposure to APAC countries).
  • Handled a team of 5 to 10 people for 5+ years in previous roles.
  • Proficiency in HRM systems such as Workday/Oracle.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization, locally and globally.
  • Experience in a global (matrix) organization preferred.
  • Effective collaboration skills and the ability to influence stakeholders and vendors, having exposure to ADP Celergo/Streamline and money movement concepts.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Implement Agile methodologies and lean six sigma processes to bring effective and efficient results.
