SW Quality Assurance Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled software quality assurance engineer to fill this key position. As a vital member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing test strategies, defining quality goals for agile development teams, executing test cases, and guiding teams to achieve quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test plans, define quality targets for agile sprints, execute test cases, and facilitate sprints to meet quality standards.
  • Document test results, submit defect reports, and change requests.
  • Collaborate with product development and testing teams to investigate and resolve issue reports.
  • Review product documentation and functional specifications.
  • Partner with the Engineering team on analyzing requirements and implementing use cases in automated testing frameworks.
  • Monitor, execute, and publish test outcomes using the framework.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of industry experience in networking or a related field.
  • Experience working in cloud environments such as Kubernetes, AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is essential.
  • Thorough understanding of networking concepts, including L2/L3 features (TCP/IP, VRRP, IGMP, IPv4, LLDP, LAG, GRE, LT2TP, and IPSec).
  • Knowledge of IEEE 802.1 standards (Bridging, VLAN, STP, MAC security) is also required.
  • Experience working in Linux environments is necessary.
  • Familiarity with WiFi Standards (IEEE 802.11) is beneficial.
