Senior Investment Associate Position

The role involves collaborating closely with clients to understand their investment deal requirements in the structured finance sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and interpret client legal agreements, understanding servicer or trustee reporting
  • Work with clients on risk and exposure monitoring of transactions
  • Calculate and monitor covenants, concentration limits, eligibility criteria, concentration tests, Borrowing Base calculations, and other key metrics/tests
  • Lead daily operations of workstreams, ensuring accurate and timely deliverables
  • Liaise with Business Analyst and Implementation team for data accuracy on proprietary platforms
  • Mentor freshers to improve learning curve
  • Provide enhanced surveillance to clients on portfolio performance, sharing critical aspects proactively
  • Assist in standardising processes, increasing efficiencies, and setting up SOPs around deliverables
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Broad understanding of Structured Finance products/ corporate credit landscape/ABL/CLO/Middle Market Portfolio Financing
  • In-depth knowledge of core financial and accounting concepts
  • Proficiency in financial modelling using MS Excel
  • Understanding of various financial databases, including Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Factiva
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Prior experience with an Investment Bank, Investment Management firm, or Financial Advisory firm preferred
