Job Role:

Senior Associate is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of client funds, including monitoring cash flows and analyzing asset performance.

The role involves working closely with clients to manage their investments, tracking and summarizing reporting, preparing analytics, and communicating status to various groups throughout the investment lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with the asset management team and external business partners to review performance and suggest value enhancements where applicable.

Operational efficiency and information flow are enhanced through coordination with third parties and internal teams on lender reporting and compliance with credit agreements.

Funding and distribution activities are managed by working with internal/external teams.

We work with the client's technology team and third-party consultants on high-priority real estate technology implementation initiatives.

Detailed review of chart of account mapping is performed during the implementation stage of technology and onboarding of new deals.

Required skills and qualifications include a strong accounting background, financial and analytical skills, excellent communication skills, experience in asset management or related fields, and advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills.

Skill requirements also include attention to detail, multitasking abilities, ability to cultivate trust and build partnerships with different counterparts, training and mentoring junior team members, utilizing dynamic portfolio management tools to analyze deal activity and performance, and reviewing budget-to-actual outputs from the real estate portfolio management tool.

Additional key terms in credit and purchase agreements must be outlined, and operational efficiencies and information flow must be executed with both internal and external teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of key investment performance drivers and be able to execute this role effectively.
