Senior Software Engineer Role

About us: Triomics is building a modern technology stack for oncology trial sites and investigators that unifies clinical care and research workflows, moving the healthcare industry closer to treating cancer as a manageable condition. Our platform, based on our proprietary large language model (LLM) co-developed with leading cancer centers, eliminates operational inefficiencies in patient recruitment, data curation, and other tasks involved in clinical research.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Mentoring and motivating team members to deliver high-quality products.
  • Collaborating with product management, user experience, and engineering teams to design, develop, deploy, and maintain a highly available, fault-tolerant software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering.
  • Participating in software design meetings to support long-term code maintainability and extensibility.
  • Performing code reviews.
  • Oversight of quality in code written by the team and products created.
  • Driving continuous improvement in the software development life cycle.
  • Providing ongoing feedback and working with engineers on their professional development.
Required skills and qualifications include:

Minimum Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience shipping high-quality products in a SaaS environment.
  • Excellent design and programming skills, primarily with a focus on enterprise server solutions using JavaScript and ReactJS.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of web services technologies.
  • Javascript, HTML, CSS, ReactJS, and ExpressJS proficiency.
  • Full working knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and commercial product development practices in complex enterprise/cloud solutions.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts.
  • Experience using open-source packages for common capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
