Job Overview:

  • We are seeking an experienced Bakery Operations Manager to oversee the preparation and presentation of high-quality baked goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage food product-related costs, ensuring optimal levels to meet business objectives by optimizing inventory, reducing waste, and streamlining production processes.
  2. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and conducting regular spot checks on food quality and portion control.
  3. Supervise and assist in food production, adhering to menu planning and promotional initiatives, and train associates to promote a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  4. Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for improving productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  5. Maintain accurate records, highlighting any necessary maintenance or repairs, and ensure banquet functions are served on time with quality and quantity meeting expectations.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organisational skills, enabling effective time management and multitasking.
  • In-depth knowledge of baking, cooking, and grilling techniques.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
  • Quick learning of new recipes and cooking procedures.
