Automation Test Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automation frameworks, testing tools, and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

The successful candidate will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications. They will also collaborate with QA, development, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
  • Execute regression, functional, integration, and performance tests.
  • Identify, log, and track defects; work closely with developers to resolve issues.

Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
  • Experience in API testing (Postman, RestAssured, Karate, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Understanding of databases (SQL, Oracle, MySQL).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative Agile team.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in test automation.
  • ISTQB or relevant QA certifications (preferred).
