Quality Assurance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web-based SaaS applications.

Your primary responsibility will be to perform functional and manual testing for our web-based SaaS applications. This includes writing and executing test cases, creating and maintaining test documentation, and collaborating with developers, product managers, and stakeholders in Agile/Scrum teams.

You will also be responsible for designing and implementing automated tests using Playwright or similar tools, understanding and testing database queries to ensure data integrity and backend validations, logging and tracking issues using JIRA, and participating in sprint planning and retrospectives.

We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical and testing skills, who has experience with Playwright or similar automation frameworks, and a working knowledge of SQL and database validations.

In addition, we require a strong understanding of manual testing principles and functional testing, as well as experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA/YouTrack, GitHub, and Jenkins.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 2+ years of QA/testing experience, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Strong understanding of manual testing principles and functional testing.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and database validations.
  • Experience with Playwright or similar automation frameworks.
  • Understanding of AI/ML-based workflows in applications.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA/YouTrack, GitHub, Jenkins.
