Job Title: Senior Product Development Manager - Skin Care

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Development Manager to join our team in Mumbai, India. This role will focus on developing innovative products for the skin care category, leveraging our scientific knowledge base to create strong product differentiators in the market.

About the Role
  • Develop and execute product development strategies for skin care products, including pre-formulations, proto-typing, and scale-up activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including innovation/design, marketing, and global R&D, to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
  • Interact with academia and higher institutes of learning to establish and work on projects relevant to the skin care category.
  • Analyze and evaluate competition products, identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • MPharm or MSc in Pharm Chemistry/Pharmaceutics, or equivalent experience in formulation development.
  • 7-10 years of experience in the field of formulation development, preferably in hair, skin/household insecticides, hygiene, air care, deodorant, or fine fragrances.
  • Strong analytical skills, understanding of product formulations, consumer expectations, and gaps in delivery of existing formats.
  • Ability to think innovatively, question the status quo, and develop practical solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
