System Performance Optimization Expert:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our application monitoring and optimization team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of system performance and reliability.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and Analysis: You will work closely with our development teams to monitor and analyze our systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance overall performance.
  • Configuration and Setup: Proven experience with Dynatrace setup and configuration is essential for this role. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure that our systems are properly monitored and configured for optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis: You will troubleshoot system issues and perform root cause analysis to identify the source of problems and implement long-term fixes.
  • Alerting and Alarming: You will define and fine-tune alerts, integrate Dynatrace alerts in incident management tooling, and set up alarming for different systems using Splunk.
  • Code Analysis and Optimisation: You will analyze and optimize system code with respect to error handling and alerting, leveraging your understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks.
  • Synthetic Monitoring and Alarm Management: A strong understanding of synthetic monitoring and alarm management is necessary for this role. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure that our systems are properly monitored and configured for optimal performance.
  • IT Service Management Tools: Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools is a plus. You will work closely with our platform teams to ensure that our systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: A problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement is essential for this role. You will work closely with our development teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance system performance.
  • Liaison Role: Experience in a similar liaison role between application and platform teams is a plus. You will work closely with both teams to ensure that our systems are properly monitored and configured for optimal performance.
  • ITIL Practices: Knowledge of ITIL practices and principles is a plus. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure that our systems are properly monitored and configured for optimal performance.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in system monitoring and optimization
  • Proven experience with Dynatrace setup and configuration
  • Experience in operational application management
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
  • alerting and alarming expertise
  • Code analysis and optimisation skills
