Process Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Process Optimization Specialist with experience in design, development, and optimization of column internals for mass transfer and separation processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize column internals to improve process efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Conduct process simulations and calculations for distillation, absorption, and stripping applications using industry-standard software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the feasibility and compatibility of designed internals with existing processes and equipment.
  • Develop technical reports, datasheets, and proposals for clients detailing optimized solutions and recommendations.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot operational issues in installed column internals to enhance performance and minimize downtime.
  • Stay updated with advancements in mass transfer technology and process engineering best practices through continuous professional development.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field from a recognized institution.
  • 2-5 years of experience in process design, mass transfer, or column internals manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in process simulation tools such as Aspen Plus, HYSYS, or ChemCAD is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, heat & mass transfer, thermodynamics, and pressure drop calculations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
