Job Overview

As a Specialist Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management of services on messaging and file transfer technologies.

  • Effective management of MTS services to end users and application teams is crucial to success.
  • Managing a skilled team, onboarding resources, and ensuring optimal project outcomes are key responsibilities.

The ideal candidate has experience in IT infrastructure, preferably within an outsourcing or managed services environment. Expertise in Sterling file gateway, Sterling Integrator, IBM Connect Express, and Unix/Linux is required. Participation in disaster recovery processes is essential.

A strong understanding of infrastructure management principles, including availability, service quality, and legacy management, is necessary. Proficiency in Incident, Change, Request, and Release Management is also required. Additionally, knowledge of Vulnerability management, Asset, license, and Capacity Management, Resiliency, DR Process, and Business Continuity Planning is essential.
