**Role Overview:**

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing credit control functions and providing support in maintaining effective control over account receivables.

  • Monitor accounts receivable to ensure prompt payment from customers.
  • Control credit limits of individual customers and branches based on past payment trends and updated credit information.
  • Evaluate credit authorization forms and agreements with clients to ensure compliance with credit policies.
  • Administer rates for all clients, including discounts, in accordance with laid-down discounting policies.
  • Ensure adherence to credit policies and report any deviations to senior management.
  • Process new account applications and establish appropriate credit limits.
  • Develop strong follow-up processes for collections with customers.
  • Generate outstanding statements and submit bills every fortnight, obtaining acknowledgment and filing accordingly.
  • Verify accuracy of invoices and reconcile statements with SGL balances.
  • Carry out fortnightly/monthly reconciliations with clients, confirm balances, and report disputes and problems.
  • Prepare weekly debtors reports and collection plans for submission to senior management.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in credit control functions within the travel industry. Must be methodical in work and able to build good coordination with customers.
