Job Title: Junior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our team as a Junior Civil Engineer. This role will involve supervising and managing all on-site construction activities, resolving minor design and technical details in collaboration with contractors and architects, and maintaining accurate records of materials, labour, and progress on site.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in civil engineering. You will work closely with our experienced team to deliver high-quality projects and develop your skills and knowledge in this field.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities.
  • Resolve minor design and technical details in collaboration with contractors and architects.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials, labour, and progress on site.
  • Provide daily updates and progress reports to the principal architect and client through charts, emails, and reports.
  • Stay on-site during the entire construction period, overseeing project execution and resolving on-the-ground issues.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed and manage site logistics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, designs, and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for resolving on-site issues effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of working in CAD software.
