Job Title: Strategic Workforce Planner

The role of the Strategic Workforce Planner is to oversee all aspects of workforce planning, ensuring that the organization's workforce is aligned with its business objectives. This includes developing and implementing programs that connect employees with the organization's goals.

The incumbent will be responsible for consulting with management and other leadership to identify business processes that can be improved. They will also identify and evaluate business initiatives to determine which ones meet the organization's goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and implementing programs that promote employee engagement and development.
  • Developing strategic planning methods to drive business growth.
  • Identifying data collection tools and sources to inform decision-making.
  • Implementing organizational effectiveness interventions to improve performance.
  • Creating competency models to define desired individual or group performance.
  • Developing team building exercises and workshops to foster collaboration.
  • Helping employees create project timelines and deadlines.
  • Ensuring manpower availability aligns with business needs.
  • Overseeing the recruitment process to ensure timely filling of manpower requisitions.
  • Planning and managing optimal manpower plans in coordination with functional heads.
  • Reviewing roles and grade structure on an ongoing basis to ensure alignment with business needs.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in HR, preferably in the Retail, Service, or Manufacturing sector.
  • Strong governance and business case development skills.
  • Experience with advanced workforce planning capabilities.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in HR.
