Job Overview

The Design for Test (DFT) Lead/Manager role is responsible for the integration of scan, TAP or MBIST features into the design process.

This position will develop logic design, register transfer level (RTL) coding, simulation, and provide DFT timing closure support as well as test content generation and delivery to manufacturing for various DFx content.

Key responsibilities include participating in the definition of architecture and microarchitecture features, applying strategies, tools, and methods to write and generate RTL and structural code, optimizing logic to meet power, performance, area, and timing requirements.

Additionally, this role involves reviewing verification plans, driving verification of the DFT design, ensuring design features are verified correctly, and resolving issues with failing RTL tests.

A minimum of 8 years' experience in SCAN and TAP design is required, as well as a good working knowledge of scripting languages like Perl or Python.

Bachelors in Electrical Engineering with 15+ years' experience or Masters in VLSI with 10+ years' experience on related work is desired.
