Senior IT Systems Engineer Job Summary

This is a pivotal role in the deployment, support and maintenance of applications and products within cloud environments and at customer sites.

  • The Senior IT Systems Engineer will play a key part in ensuring high availability across geographically distributed environments.
  • They will collaborate with architects, developers and DevOps teams to enhance the integration of services into the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex maintenance upgrades and support initiatives.
  • Manage user and team provisioning access controls and permissions.
  • Design and implement automation solutions to streamline operational workflows.
  • Drive modernization efforts for deployment monitoring and testing processes.
  • Respond to and manage service escalations ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential skills and qualifications include:

  • Proven experience installing configuring upgrading and maintaining JFrog Artifactory.
  • Skilled in integrating Artifactory with build tools and pipelines.
  • Strong experience in Linux system administration including Bash scripting.
  • Highly responsible adaptable and collaborative team player with strong initiative and clear communication skills.
  • Experience using an ITSM platform with a proven track record on timely customer responses and ticket updates.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills and experience.
