Infrastructure Expertise

To excel in this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our datacentres, platforms, and corporate systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage AIX servers, SANs, and storage arrays, showcasing expertise in server and storage technologies.
  • Implement robust Backup, Replication, HA, and Recovery technologies to guarantee seamless system operations.
  • Enforce AIX Server Security Management best practices to safeguard against unauthorized access and data loss.
  • Oversee AIX Server hardware management to optimize system performance and efficiency.
Organizational Design:

You will report directly to the Infrastructure Head and collaborate closely with the Infrastructure team to deliver exceptional results.

Team Expectations:

The Infrastructure team is accountable for administering and managing all development, UAT, pre-production, production, and DR environments, as well as internal corporate IT systems.

We expect you to uphold high standards of quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness in your work, while promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Requirements:
  • Degree qualification or equivalent industry certifications and experience.
  • Expertise in AIX operating system administration.
  • Strong understanding of automation scripting and its applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, confident in dealing with internal and external clients.
  • Superior problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments.
  • Able to prioritize tasks effectively, manage time efficiently, and execute projects within tight deadlines.
