Infrastructure Engineer Job Description

As a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in driving the success of our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure solutions using tools like AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code to automate infrastructure management tasks.
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration between development, testing, and production environments.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure high availability and security of infrastructure systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements to existing infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing large-scale infrastructure systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of cloud providers including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including protocols and architectures.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks.
