Internal Police Reforms Project

The role of a Project Coordinator is to oversee both research and operational aspects of the Internal Police Reforms project. This involves working closely with the Project Director and State Supervisors to provide overall leadership and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting primary research to identify focus areas/domains of the project
  • Supervising data analysis and desk research on police commissions' reports
  • Leading field visits to study best policing practices in selected domains
  • Engaging with experts to formulate change manuals for states
  • Providing leadership in training programs and preparing training materials
  • Monitoring project implementation and ensuring effective coordination with state officials
Requirements:
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in field-level policing
  • Knowledge of Criminal Law and Police Manuals
  • Passion for Police Reforms and Citizen-centric policing
  • Strong communication and training/briefing skills
  • Proficiency in English & Hindi
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Good health for extensive field visits
