Job Overview

The primary objective of this role is to facilitate the implementation of a comprehensive compliance program within an international organization. This involves ensuring adherence to relevant national and international laws, regulations, professional standards, and accepted business practices.

This position requires a deep understanding of the dynamic environment of a FinTech organization and the ability to integrate with Agile/Scrum working environments.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the design, implementation, and management of IT controls & compliance frameworks for an international organization.
  • Ensure compliance with industry best security practices within SaaS environments.
  • Manage and coordinate customer and independent third-party attestations as part of contractual obligations and certification requirements.
  • Support third-party risk assessments and regular assurance programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires individuals with strong technical skills and knowledge in GRC tools and platforms. Experience working with Secure-SDLC tooling, Application Security, and knowledge of modern cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) are highly desirable.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to execute and report status on risk assessment and mitigation program metrics.

Proficiency in maintaining policies and procedures as part of the Policy Governance Framework and coordinating with other departments is required.


Business, Product, and Industry Knowledge

Knowledge of secure SDLC, application security, and open banking / PSD2 is beneficial. Familiarity with multiple security and privacy frameworks, third-party risk, outsourcing, and banking regulations is also required.

Ability to integrate with an Agile/Scrum working environment and drive teams is crucial.


Complexity and Problem-Solving

This role requires proven ability to lead tactical compliance setup and operations. The ideal candidate should be a strategic problem solver who can take issues and find practical business solutions.

Experience in managing in a functional way (not hierarchical) is highly desirable.


Collaborations and Interactions

Internal and external stakeholder management is a key aspect of this role. Collaboration and interaction with colleagues from all relevant departments, vendors, partners, and customers are essential.


Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant working experience in the practical implementation of compliance programs in an international environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required; academic degree desired in the area of IT Security, Risk Management, Cyber Security, Information Security.
  • Fluent English - written and spoken required (mandatory).
  • Professional certifications (e.g. ISC2 or CompTIA certifications) desired or willingness to obtain them.
