Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and underwriting agriculture insurance policies, including crops, livestock, and farm infrastructure.

  • Evaluate and assess risks associated with agriculture-related insurance applications, including crops, livestock, machinery, and farm infrastructure.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of agricultural risks using historical data, climate forecasts, farm management practices, and geographic factors.
  • Design and recommend appropriate coverage levels and policy terms based on risk assessments and market conditions.

This role involves working closely with actuaries, risk managers, and field agents to deliver customized insurance solutions that align with the specific risks of the agriculture industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of agriculture production, climate risks, and farm operations.

A bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field is required. Prior experience in agriculture insurance underwriting or a related field is preferred.
