Job Title: Senior Mainframe Developer

The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and maintain product features, ensuring seamless production support and timely query resolution. Effective technical and domain support is provided to customers through thorough analysis and debugging of defect situations using relevant tools and knowledge.

Key programming skills required for this position include COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and IBM MQ. A strong understanding of requirements and estimation of efforts is necessary for successful project execution.

A robust analytical mindset and excellent communication skills are essential for this role. The ability to work flexibly in both development and maintenance projects is also crucial.

Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile process is necessary for success in this role. Knowledge of the corporate banking domain is an added advantage.
