Job Title:

Compliance Professional

We are seeking a skilled Compliance professional to join our partner's team in Mysuru. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, reviewing, and investigating transactions to detect and prevent financial crimes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive reviews and investigations in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor client activities to identify suspicious patterns or anomalies.
  • Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Know Your Customer (KYC), and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for new and existing clients.
  • Review alerts generated by transaction monitoring systems and escalate high-risk cases for further analysis.
  • Maintain and update records of investigations, risk assessments, and reporting for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Prepare and submit Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) / Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) to the relevant authorities as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Support in developing and maintaining policies, risk assessments, and training materials.
  • Stay updated on emerging risks and changes in local/global regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law, or a related field (Compliance certification preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Compliance, KYC, or Risk Management within an investment firm, bank, or financial services company.

Skills & Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of regulations, compliance processes, and transaction monitoring in the investment/financial sector.
  • Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in compliance tools, data analysis, and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong ethical standards and attention to detail.
