As a key player in the ESG landscape, we are seeking an experienced professional to spearhead our sustainability efforts. This high-impact role requires a unique blend of domain expertise and consultative selling skills to drive business growth and advance our customers' environmental, social, and governance (ESG) objectives.

The successful candidate will have 3–6 years of experience in ESG consulting, sustainability advisory, or pre-sales for an ESG SaaS product. Strong familiarity with sustainability frameworks, reporting standards, and assurance practices is essential, as well as proven experience conducting client discovery, building business cases, and delivering demos in enterprise B2B environments.

This role demands excellent storytelling skills – the ability to translate complex ESG and compliance requirements into actionable business insights that resonate with CFOs, CSOs, and board-level stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong research and analytical skills to prepare peer benchmarking and market insights, as well as a consultative, client-first mindset with the ability to build trust and credibility quickly.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead discovery conversations with CXOs and sustainability leaders to understand their ESG challenges.
  • Tailor and deliver demos of the GovEVA platform, mapping capabilities directly to identified client pain points and ESG requirements.
  • Be the sustainability domain expert in prospect conversations - able to answer tough technical queries on ESG standards, frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD, SEBI BRSR, etc.), carbon accounting, compliance, and assurance.
  • Prepare solution proposals and decks post-demo that outline how GovEVA addresses client challenges, including solution design, value articulation, and next steps.
  • Nurture partially qualified prospects, through thought leadership, peer analysis, case studies, and ROI calculations.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Delivery, and Product teams to ensure consistency of message and teamwork to win and retain business.
